Cycle and Week Combination was created by kmdries
Hi,

I am a music teacher and have schedules that move in different ways. My K-3 classes rotate on a six-day cycle because there are six sections of each grade. I had no problem inputting them in the calendar and getting it to copy for the following weeks. The problem arises when I try to input my 4th grade classes. We have only 5 sections of 4th grade, so they are on a standard five-day weekly schedule. When I try to add my 4th grade classes and copy them for the following weeks, it cancels out the cycle schedule that I previously created. Is there a way to get my cycle schedule and stationary week schedule together?

Hello kmdries,
I'm afraid we can't do that yet. It is something we have in our to-dos but I'm still not sure how we will address that configuration. I'll see what we can do in our next major update, it will take some time.

You should configure the six-day cycle in the calendar which in turn will show in the planner and use the diary in each class for the more conventional five-day schedule.

The setting shown below will decide whether the class' diary depends on the calendar or not. For your K-3 classes, set 'Week configuration depends on calendar' and for the rest you should use the 'Simple week configuration'

I hope this helps!
