Schedule Change Problems was created by CAReynolds
Two of the periods in my schedule are switching time periods. I can change the times for both of them, but it appears to change only for that week. Is there a way I can change them for the rest of the year? Also, It seems to be inconsistent. When I made the change for this week, it stuck for both the schedule and the planner. But trying to make the change this week, it worked for the schedule but is not reflected in the calendar. How can I sync these as well as make the change permanent in both the schedule and the planner? Notice in the attachment, on Friday the classes "Violin Club" and "Gr 4/5 Kearse" show the changed times but display in their original positions in the planner.
(And I apologize, but I can't seem to post this in the appropriate forum, it keeps posting under announcements.)
Thanks.

Hello CAReynolds,

A couple of clarifications first:

The schedule, calendar and planner will show exactly the same information. The class, period and times are read from the same database. The main difference is whether they represent its Time (i.e schedule) or Periods (i.e. planner) on the left hand side bar.

The structure in the schedule is based on the time assigned to each period. If the time of a particular block is changed it will be shown earlier or later in the schedule. The Period parameter, on the other hand, has no effect on the schedule.

The planner is based on that Period parameter. You can actually think of a Period as a 'Row in the planner'. The order of periods in the planner is always the same, the time is shown but it won't affect its row position.

You will see the period names here: Settings (on the ruler) > Planner and you could rename 'Period 5' to 'Lunch or to 'Period 14' but its order won't change.

Now, if you would like to switch time periods and to actually change the order in the planner you have to change the Period parameter.

Warning: Spoiler!

Once you have that week properly configured, tap on Calendar (on the ruler), Week mode, select that particular week on the left hand side calendar, tap on Automatic Copy, and Done
You should make a Quick backup (Backup - on the ruler) in case you'd like to restore your previous configuration.

I hope this helps!
