1) I would love to have idoceo as a universal app that also runs on iphone. If data could automatically sync between ipad and iphone using icloud or dropbox that would be awesome!

Ideal for PE teachers out on the field - who can easily fit an iphone in there pocket!

2) I woukd also love to see thumbnails of students in the markbooks

3) Hte photos tend to look a bit squashed, could you advise on idoceo's preferred resolution or dimensions for photos, or provide option for crop to fit rather than the default stretch fit with photos.

Hi Ben,
Here our thoughts...
1)We've always thought of iDoceo as an iPad only app, basically because of the screen limitations of the iPhone and to ease the transition from a paper gradebook for experienced and non-experienced iPad users. The dimensions of the iPad are almost those of a gradebook.

We love to scroll on iDoceo's grid with lots of info on screen and somehow the magic is lost on the smaller screen (we had an early version for iPhone to try) and requires an entirely different UI approach.

As we're a small development team we can only focus on a specific platform at a time so we had to keep the iPhone version on hold.

2) Absolutely a must. We'll try to push it for this upcoming release. Stay tuned on the announcements.

3)There is a lot of room for improvement here, for the moment I can tell you the expected resolution is 128x145 , so any photo with that ratio will look ok. In a future release will probably move towards the (auto) crop option.

Thanks a lot for contacting us

Hi Ben,
I've just been checking the image size I gave you and it is not correct. The right size is 167x174 pixels. We're working already on and improved photo capture version utility, hope you'll find it useful
