I would like to calculate a grade from score in the following way:
(score * 9):10+1= grade
This results in a grade between 1 and 10
Is this possible and if so ... how?
Thanks
Geert

			Welcome to iDoceo Geert,
To configure a grade from 1 to 10 you don't need the score, here the configuration of a grade from 1 to 10 ( this is done from the main screen / Grade types / Add / numeric type)
And below an example with a max score of 9 and another one with 60 (set in the grade type of each column).
If you need more detail on this, do let me know where you get stuck. A real example of what you're trying to calculate would be of great help.
Give this a look for assigning the max score in a column

I dont really understand what you mean by "dont need the score"
Example:
In a test, a student can score max 45 points. He scores 27 points.
His grade will be 27*9/45+1=6.4
In one colom I type the score and in the next I let iDoceo calculate the grade.
Is there an easier way?

			Thanks for the fast assistance!
Thats the way I did it. No formulas but the input of the score is a must!
I am on my way! At first I had my doubts about the app but now I am convinced. This definitly
could work, but it needs some time to get the hang of it. No problem by the way, as long as it is worth the effort. With the help of a good helpdesk ...
Who knows, if I get this act together, I could convince some collegues.
