This question came up after I spent some time reorganising my teaching materials.

Beta report: after re-sorting students, an old cell edit seemed to point at the wrong visible row.

A smoother way to handle it would save me a little time on most teaching days.

Resolved. History now finds cells by their database identifiers instead of their current row positions, so sorting does not redirect the operation.
