Homework, Project or Assignment Notification APP

This is the first year of going live with the iDoceo App. Keeping track of students in various classes has been a great experience compared to the previous paper form method.

The student roulette has worked out to be a excellent tool when randomly selecting students for impromptu questions, quizzes, etc. Kudos!

There is one thing lacking that could be added or considered to make this App an even more perfect tool. That is a Homework, Assignment, Project Due Date notification system. It would be nice if we could add an assignment, project, etc. as being due on a specific date, then have the App push a message to a student's smartphone to remind them of pending homework, etc.

Could this be accomplished by creating a separate App for students to download then somehow have that communicate with a Homework section created within iDoceo?

This would be a valuable tool to help those who have a difficult time remember due dates, etc.

+1 for the ability to assign homework in iDoceo. It would be great if the app selected the next session of the class by default (with the ability to change the date if needed).

I use Google Classroom to set the assignment and due date to my students. Then import that data into iDoceo with it's direct link to Google Classroom.

That works for me.

We don’t use Google Classroom on our school.
