			Hi,
I have followed the video for merging columns across classes successfully and I am now pulling data from three classes into a master class to track percentages in tests.
However, I cannot get it to collate the grades (A* - U), does this column merging not work with strings of data?
Help!

It works with Text based grades but formulas take its value as a percentage.
A* is a 1.00 (or what you've configured) B is 0.7 and so on..

Is there anyway to pull text through as plain text
i.e.
Cell contents = A
or
Cell contents = Pass
		    i.e.
Cell contents = A
or
Cell contents = Pass

On the Formula's header (double tap header) > Grade type > Select your grade type (A* - U)
Now add the function COLUMNRESULT (it is in the 'Legacy functions' list) wrapped around what you've typed now
COLUMNRESULT (COLUMN1)
or
COLUMNRESULT ( COLUMN1 + COLUMN2 + COLUMN 3)

It's pulling through 0.00 for all students instead of the A* - U grades

I'd need some screenshots RJR. What was it showing before the COLUMNRESULT function.
Send it to support@idoceo.net and I'll give it a look.

			Its always displayed 0.00
I did manage to have it do a grade conversion when I had the original data set as numerical and then it changed it to a grade but it still showed the numerical value in the combined column.
Sent you an email with a link to a google drive folder
Thanks Bert

I know it is bit confusing but truth be told not many users made it this far into formulas!
