Schedule will not copy across

Hi,
I have set up my week in the schedule from Monday August 21st - Friday August 25th.
I am a new user and so was just making sure I knew how to create the schedule.
I have followed all of the wizard steps and followed the video clip on how to copy my schedule across to other weeks and it is not working.
For now I just want to paste it into September until I am completely sure of my schedule (when I return to work) but I cannot get it to copy into any weeks.
Please advise.

Make sure your calendar is properly configured from the 1st of August until at least the 30th of September.
Then the copy will work.

I had my year starting 1st September, now I've changed it to 1st August it works. Thanks very much.
