Import - names not being recognised

I have imported my class and their photos with great success - so thank you for this flexibility in a great product.

I am now trying to add a "Reading Level" to their data. The student's names are not being recognised and so when I import there are duplicate names being created.

I have tried making the xls files first column the student's first name only This created duplicates and so I then tried full name - same issue. Then surname only - all without success as I continue to get duplicates no matter what format I make the first column.

Any thoughts please?

Before appending data you must clear the recycle bin for that particular class (or all of it)
From iDoceo's main screen, tap on Recycle (on the ruler) > Students > Erase all.
You will now be able to import data and it will not duplicate names.

The names must exactly match those of the class -including name and surname- but I guess you are doing that already.
