Random student picker

The random student picker in seating plan view is a great tool, but I have two questions:

1. It seems to only select from students that have not already been chosen. Is there an option to have it select from every student every time (without having to click on 'clear dice history' between each role)?

2. The flashing boxes look very cool, but do slow it down quite a lot - something very noticeable when standing in front of the students. Is there an option to turn the animation off so that the selected student appears immediately the dice button is pressed?

There is no option for that yet but it is an interesting request. I think we'll be able to add it in our next major update.

2. The flashing boxes

They should be disabled by default, give this a try: Settings (on the ruler) > Seating plan > disable the Roulette picker mode

Thanks for the quick reply. I must have enabled the flashing boxes a while ago and then forgotten where the option was.

Having the option to ignore the dice history can be useful when students work out the pattern. If they know they won't get chosen again they can tend to switch off.

Well done again on writing this genius programme and the brilliant support. It's lightyears ahead of any alternatives. I promote it to all my teacher friends.
