Hi, I would like to move a number of students from one class to another. These students have a lot data attached to them such as comments, grades, icons and photos. Can I move/ copy all this data with the student to another group?

			Hi Julie,
You'll be able to copy a student's personal data (tap&hold on a student, then copy) , but grades and icons won't be copied as usually the source and target classes do not share the same columns and it is a kind of a rare/complex operation. Noted though for a future release.
Regards,

I have been looking for a way to do this exact thing. Is it available yet? We do testing at the start of each year (now) and then some students will be in multiple classes I.e. for extra support. I need the data to go with them so that this can be used in the other class without re-entering the data from testing. I can copy the column but the data values are random, not attached to the student. Would the data go with them if I added the columns needed to a summary for those students who are moving?
Love the app, has changed the way I keep data and puts a new emphasis on each test/ activity as I can sort and arrange students easily.
I can see you offer a lot of support so I hope you can do something about this feature.
Well done.

			Hi Daniel,
In iDoceo 2.5.1 you can now copy a column and its content (except its annotations) to a different class. The app tries to match the names from both classes and copies data accordingly.
Similarly, student data is now updated across different classes when you use the Copy function. It will update the photo and personal info if it exists already, or will create a new student if missing on the 'target' class
