Changing editor for individual cells

Is it possible to change the editor for individual cells?
E.g. in the register I'd like to add a separate row at the top or bottom where I can add a quick line of what topic we've done in that lesson.

I find that in the header row there is not enough space for this as only the first line of the column subheading is displayed (or is there a way to display the column subheadings /subtitles?)

You can't change it for an individual cell (you could change it to text and then back to the old editor though), but here is an alternative way:

- When on the gradebook/register, go to settings (the small gear on top right corner) and enable the option "show annotations on selection" (this is a one time operation)

- Add an empty row (a student with no data in it) either on top or bottom, as you prefer.(this is a one time operation too!)

- And now, on that empty row you'll be able to add extended annotations with your quick line (tap&hold on a cell and Annotations, with text , images and audio), you'll later be able to read its contents easily with a tap on that cell.
You'll see that a cell has an annotation because of a small black line on the corner

If text is larger than expected, tap on the text bubble and it will bring your original annotation on screen. The small annotation will look like this
