Hi there
Is it possible to add a 'preferred name' field so that if this field is not blank, it is displayed in the gradebook/seating plan instead of the full name? Obviously you'd have to make sure there was an option for full names in reports etc...

Hi Ben,
Yes, this is in our todo list, but i'm not sure not sure if it will make it for 2.5.
The original idea posted by another user was to be able to show any personal field (event the user defined ones such as 'preferred name') in the reports so that you could do a "public" report with secret identifiers instead of student names to preserve everyone's privacy.
