Student configuration

My student lists are all compiled as last name, first name in Xls format. Is there an easy way to change this? I would like the first name to show up on my seating chart first.

When importing that XLS file, select the Import Wizard and choose which columns hold your student's first and last name. This option will decide the order in which they will appear in iDoceo's gradebook and seating plan.

And if I have not done this, could a facility be added to swap the two names around within iDoceo itself?

I'm not sure about this jkevens, noted the request but can't set very high priority on this one.

As a possible workaround, in our next major update you will be able to choose the field that will appear in the gradebook. This will let you update the current lists with the names swaped and choose 'Preferred name' instead of the actual name for example.
