I have a Total Points column. I want to create a Grade column based on the Total Points column. I have created a text-based Grade Type and I have created a Weighted Average calculation in the Grade column based on the Total Points column.

It doesn't work. No matter what the number in the Total Points column, the Grade is "F". Is there a way to base a text Grade in one column on a numeric value in another column?

It works but only if properly configured.
The 'Total points' column is most likely wrong. Make sure the grade type is set to generic and its 'Max points' is properly set.
I'm assuming the Grade column is set to 100% of 'Total points' already
Please take a moment to add or update your rating for iDoceo 7 teacher gradebook so that we can continue working on it. Thanks!

Yep, that works! And yep, the problem was the Total Points column was not set to generic. Thanks!
