Hi. Love the app. However, I'm confused about using it to write my lesson plans and track them by class. I'm a music teacher and need to track lessons for each class in multiple grades. I went to the diary page, but it says "no period assigned", so I'm afraid if I write on that page, it won't associate it with my class. I looked at annotations also, but that seems more for notes. Also, can I run a daily report to see my lessons for the day in a full view? And, can I run a PDF of my daily lessons to share with my student teacher? Thanks.

Welcome MusicTeacherMcGorry, here a few tips that should help.
The diary in a class, is unique for each class. This basically means that whatever you write in each diary it will stay in that class, even if 'no period is assigned', nothing will be lost.
For instance, you could decide to write down your plans in each class' diary and you wouldn't need any additional configuration.
Now, for the periods thing.
This is only necessary if you'd like iDoceo to know when your classes are scheduled.
This will allow you to:
- Show a full week in the planner with all your scheduled classes in it
- See all the diaries for a given week in a single screen. You can edit and add data in it as if you were in the diary.
- Focus on a single day, with all your classes
- Input your holidays
So in short:
- feel free to write in the diary.
- Configure your schedule and calendar, if you'd like to avoid the 'no period assigned' message and if you'd like to work with the planner.
- Whatever you write in the diary, will show up in the planner once you configure it.
Here the link that explains how to configure the schedule and here how to replicate that week for your school term
Kind regards
