I am trying to write my lesson plans but for one class I see the twice in the same day. The program automatically inserts the lesson I wrote for the earlier period into the following period which I don't want. It will not allow me to edit the contents . What should I do?

			Hello Caroline,
In the current version 3.0 it will only let you write lessons once for a class&day.
Our next update is almost ready, our version 3.1 ( here the details ) and you'll be able to insert as many lessons as you need to in the same day
Regards

Thanks for the instant reply. I thought it was just me being stupid. Will it be difficult to update the app?

Not at all, just like any other update. You'll see a new version available in the App store app > Updates in a few days and once you click on the 'Update' button, the new iDoceo version will be installed and your current data will be there.
It is always a good idea to backup before doing any update though:
tap on the Backup button on the ruler and wait for the 'Backup completed' message to appear.

I have the same problem but having only a first edition iPad will not be able to do update.
Is there any alternative? iPad provided by work so upgrade not an option!

			I'm afraid not Wendy.
We already struggled to make iDoceo 3.0 compatible with the iPad 1 and supporting iOS5 far longer than anyone else.
The original iPad has half the memory of other devices (e.g. iPad 2) and we faced serious limitations when developing iDoceo 3.
Since Apple will be presenting iOS8 this fall and we were experiencing some compatibility issues with iOS7, not to mention the new looks, we were forced to move on to iOS7.
